Bushra Hamwi (aka Bushbush) is a Communications Professional and Social Media Content Strategist turned full-time Content Creator & Tourism Entrepreneur.
In her corporate career spanning 20+ years, Bushra managed communications for leading entities across tourism, government, medical, and educational sectors, including the German Boards of Tourism and Hill & Knowlton. She has collaborated with clients worldwide—from presidential offices to small businesses—to change their narratives to engage target audiences. A graduate of NYU’s Communications & Reputation Management program, she is also a published poet, media trained with Al Jazeerah TV, and former co-host of the youth talk show Yallah Shabab (MBC, 2004).
Bushra’s passion for storytelling and her curiosity for re-exploring cities she lived in —from Damascus, Cairo, and Jeddah to New York and Dubai—led her to venture into tourism content creation. This evolved into roles as a licensed Dubai Tour Guide.
